This photo was taken on the steps of the original studios of KTRB on McHenry Avenue at Standiford sometime around 1935–1940. We have no independent information as to the people in the photograph and can only speculate. In the early days of KTRB there were several  Portuguese speaking programs on the air in both the Valley and the Bay Area. This may have been a get-together of the various Portuguese program moderators .  Note – standing behind the seated person in the front of the photograph is T.R McTammany the co-owner of KTRB at the time and apparently the general manager according to the photograph notation.  ( Photo courtesy of Timothy Sexton of Modesto).
