Mrs. Carol Glass conducted the first children's talent program on KTRB beginning shortly after the station signed on in June of 1933. The photo on the left was taken in front of the original KTRB studios at McHenry and Sylvan. The photo on the right includes many of the performers on a parade float with Mrs. Glass. Note, one of the two wooden poles that supported KTRB's antenna is visible in the upper left of the photo on the left. KTRB used a wire strung between two wooden poles as it's antenna. This type of antenna was commonly referred to as a "flatop" antenna.
